We are located on the beach in Jaco with fantastic waves to learn to surf or
advance beyond your level. Our 5 star accommodations are footsteps from the sand
and there are many world-class waves near by, so advanced surfers looking for
perfect waves will be satisfied.

About the Instructors:
"Billy the Kid"
‘Billy the Kid’ was one of the original instructors of SURF CAMPS for children
and adults in Southern California. He worked on LaJollaSurfCamp.com and
NewportSurfCamp.com, helped build these two business's and then moved to Costa
Rica full time and did it again with JacoSurfAcademy.com. Bill has literally
taught thousands of people how to surf and has also converted his 25 years+ of
surfing experience into a online surfing tutorial product,
www.virtualsurfcamp.com, which he gives access to as a BONUS for anyone who
signs up with JacoSurfAcademy.com - this is a $47 value. Bill also loves to
teach people how to surf because he Believes that surfing has given him all his
happiness in his life and he loves to share the gift.
Billy works with a band of surf loving friends that are also stoked to teach the
wealth of surfing knowledge they've accrued after surfing since they were kids.
Everyone is very Positive, very Giving and Believe in sharing the joy that
surfing brings..
"Coconut"
Roberto (aka Coconut or Coco) mostly grew up in Maui, but also lived in Europe
and the US as a kid. He moved to Costa Rica years ago, drawn in by the magical
beauty and pace of life. He speaks 4 languages fluently - English, Spanish,
German, and Italian. He loves teaching people how to surf, going on surf
adventures, and hitting up the waterfalls on a hot day.
Tony
Tony grew up in San Diego, surfing since he was a kid. He used to work for surf
camps in the summer and spent long holidays abroad on surf trips. He left behind
the La Jolla reefs to live in Costa Rica where the waves are better and less
crowded.
Nate
Newport Beach California used to be home for Nate, where he worked at Corky
Carrol's Surf Camp for 8 years and also lived on a boat for a while. Wanting
some solstice, he came to Costa Rica to chill and surf with friends. He's stoked
to teach you how to surf or show you some of the best spots to score waves.
